This high-end monitor combines Antelope’s cutting-edge clock and interface technology with painstaking acoustical engineering to produce unrivaled sound accuracy in any studio situation. The Atlas i8 uses Class-D amplification to deliver 200W to the twin 8″ woofers and 100W to the 5.5″ midrange and 1.5″ high-frequency drivers, respectively. The two 8″ woofers are housed in an isobaric chamber, resulting in a deep, punchy bass that is usually only attainable in bigger enclosures. Furthermore, the mid-high drivers are positioned in a coaxial configuration, allowing both drivers to function as a single point source with increased phase coherency and a large sweet spot.
