Tube Summing Mixer TSM Description Tegeler Audio’s 40-input Tube Summing Mixer provides contemporary conveniences while keeping the sound of analog equipment. The TSM is straightforward, with only a single stepped output knob and most inputs using DB25 connections. It’s meant to integrate smoothly into your professional audio workflow. Under the hood, active tubes and transformers on the output stage are responsible for the superb sound quality. The TSM may also be linked together if you require more than the 40 inputs. If you don’t want to give up your digital gadgets but miss the warmth of an analog control board while also saving space, the Tegeler Audio Manufaktur Tube Summing Mixer is the answer. Main Charcteristics of Tube Summing Mixer TSM Many people miss the sound of analog mixing consoles but like the ease of current consoles. The Tegeler Audio Tube Summing Mixer allows you to combine the sound of analog mixing with the advantages of a digital workflow in the comfort of your studio. The analog signal route, tubes, and matching transformers process the signals. The result is a classic analog sound: open, defined, and warm. The mix does not remain imprisoned in the box but instead opens up the entire room. 2 × 20 channels provide many inputs for even the most complex mixes. If 40 inputs are insufficient for your needs, numerous Tube Summing Mixers can be cascaded to increase the input count. Using several Tube Summing Mixers allows for seamless surround mixes. The Tube Summing Mixer uses a stepped output switch instead of a potentiometer to achieve precise mixing. This allows for realistic reductions in -3 decibel increments. To add mono signals to the mix, use the lower TRS jack. The mono signal is then automatically distributed to both channels at the same time, resulting in it appearing in the phantom center of the mix. Tegeler Audio Manufaktur Tube Summing Mixer TSM FEATURES : Four sub-D connectors provide 2 x 16 balanced inputs (XLR or TRS via adaptor cable, Tascam® layout). 2 x 4 balanced TRS inputs (Neutrik® stereo jack).
