Universal Audio Volt 876 USB-C Audio Interface

$69.28 $115.7
Universal Audio Volt 876 Overview The Volt 876, meticulously crafted by the engineers behind Universal Audio’s Apollo line, is a rack-mounted 24×28 USB-C audio interface featuring eight vintage preamps and analog 1176-style compressors for achieving iconic tone. With 32-bit/192 kHz AD/DA conversion and unique compatibility for the LUNA DAW’s AI-powered smart tools, the Volt 876 makes it easier than ever to get professional results. The Volt 876 features eight XLR-1/4″ combination mic/line inputs, six on the back panel and two on the front. The front-panel connectors let you select between line and Hi-Z input modes. Additional per-channel front-panel settings include 48V phantom power, phase reversal, vintage mode, and a 76-style compressor with three presets. The monitoring controls include low-latency direct monitoring mode, DIM/Talk, Alt, and Mute. The 876 has I/O for every occasion, including three stereo pairs of 1/4″ line outputs (channels 3 to 8), one stereo pair of monitor outputs, 16 channels of ADAT (or 2-channel S/PDIF) via TOSLINK optical ports, BNC wordclock I/O, 5-pin DIN MIDI I/O, and two front-panel headphone outputs with independently adjustable volume. ADAT allows you to connect up to three Volt 876 interfaces, resulting in a 24-channel recording system. And, with the bundled suite of professional UAD plug-ins and instruments, as well as third-party applications, you can start producing great music right now. Equipped with industry-leading AD/DA conversion The Volt 876, developed by the team that built Universal Audio’s best-selling Apollo interfaces, features next-generation 32-bit/192 kHz AD/DA conversion. The interface’s improved conversion circuitry provides realistic detail and clarity, as well as a high degree of dimensionality. And, with the Assistive Auto-Gain function, every take will be a keeper. Experts discovered that projects produced with this USB-C audio interface are consistently high-quality. With the Volt 876, you’ll be able to produce rock-solid, album-worthy tracks. Enhance your tunes with deep analog flavor. UA is known for its traditional analog designs, and the Volt 876 exemplifies its decades of experience. This audio interface has eight analog mic preamps that sound very similar to Universal Audio’s famous 610 tube preamp. The Vintage Preamp Mode uses finely built op-amps and solid-state circuits to provide tube-like dynamic saturation and clipping, providing you with strong and intuitive tone shaping for microphones and line-level inputs. Best of all, Vintage Preamp Mode is configurable, allowing you to use the Volt 876 with external preamps and channel strips without any additional coloring. Additionally, each mic channel has a built-in 76 Compressor, a FET-driven design based on the vintage UREI 1176. But these aren’t digital emulations; they’re genuine analog compressors. Aside from that, these compressors include three simple push-button modes for vocals, guitars, and fast sources (the latter is specifically designed for drumming), providing the best settings for each source. A broad complement of extendable input/output The Volt 876 has eight preamps and compressors, making it ideal for recording big ensembles. It also has more character and tone than any other USB interface in its class. Two studio-quality headphone amplifiers provide vivid, clear monitoring, and an inbuilt talkback microphone for smooth studio communication. Do you need extra I/O? The Volt 876 allows you to connect up to 16 channels via ADAT, for a total of 24 inputs and 28 outputs. Furthermore, you may connect up to three Volt 876s, allowing you to expand your Apollo or third-party interface to create an extremely scalable recording system. Contains a premium software package. The Volt 876 has a valuable assortment of professional-grade software, allowing you to start recording right away. For starters, you’ll get UA’s award-winning LUNA DAW software, which allows you to record, edit, and mix with the sound and workflow of an analog studio. The Volt 876 also includes a suite of UAD plug-ins and instruments, including classic Teletronix LA-2A compressors and Pultec EQs, as well as new favorites like the PolyMAX Synth, Century Tube Channel Strip, Oxide Tape Recorder, Verve Analog Machines Essentials, Pure Plate Reverb, Galaxy Tape Echo, and Showtime ’64 Tube Guitar Amp. You also receive a great selection of third-party software, including Ableton Live Lite, Celemony Melodyne Essential, Plugin Alliance Ampeg SVT-VR Classic Bass Bundle, Softube Marshall Plexi Classic Amp Bundle, UJAM Virtual Drummer Deep and Virtual Bassist Dandy, and Spitfire Audio Labs. Using this substantial software bundle, you may make music using the same plug-ins and instruments that top industry professionals use in their home studios.
