Freqport FT1 Freqtube Multi-instance Analog Hardware Processor

$38.97 $60.01
Real Analog Processing for Unreal Convenience The Freqport FT1 Freqtube is a USB-C multi-instance analog hardware processor that works with the Freqtube plug-in to provide the Holy Grail of current music production: analog processing and sound combined with digital workflow and ease. It has four tubes—two E83CC/12AX7 high-gain tubes and two 12AT7 mid-gain tubes—housed in a robust all-metal cabinet. The Freqport FT-1 Freqtube provides ultra-low jitter 32-bit digital audio conversion (DAC) and supports sample rates up to 192 kHz. It also has eight assignable hardware potentiometers, selectable overdrive with clipping protection, and selectable even or odd-order harmonics behavior, as well as an optional rackmount kit. Analog and digital in harmony While many studio engineers enjoy analog processing, we often dislike the “cable pasta” that comes with properly routing analog gear. That is why the Freqport FT1 Freqtube is such a great solution. When used in combination with the Freqtube plug-in, you may choose between two stereo or four mono instances of the Freqtube anywhere in your workflow. Additionally, its eight configurable hardware knobs let you pick and change gain, drive, cutoffs, harmonic behavior, and much more. In addition, the Freqtube can process many signals at the same time, which is impossible with traditional single-circuit analog processing. Analog Reinvented. Analog warmth: instead of all-digital processing, use actual analog processors in your mix while retaining all of the benefits of digital control. Hassle-free analog: connecting via USB-C eliminates the need for spaghetti cabling or sophisticated audio configuration in your applications. Zero recall: You may quickly recall all of your analog settings within the plugin. You no longer have to go through the effort of attempting to reproduce settings on your analog gear. Multiple analog processing circuits allow more than one audio signal to be treated simultaneously inside your digital workflow. This is not achievable with single-circuit analog processors. Fully automated: the plugin allows you to automate all analog controllers as well as audio. Forget about MIDI patchbays, CV converters, daisy chains, and convoluted routing. Vacuum tubes to die for: four independent channels, two tube types from top companies like JJ and Electro-Harmonix, parallel and main analog processing routes for each channel, and real analog mixing. Bit-perfect professional audio: supports up to 192 kHz sample rate and has built-in ultra-low jitter pro converters that are directly attached to the analog circuit for best performance. Character control: directly regulates the saturation’s harmonics, both even and odd. Overdrive provides a more forceful sound. Eight integrated hardware filters may be used to further shape the sound. Easy to use. The Freqtube could not be easier to use. Connect it to your host computer using a single USB-C connection, turn it on, access the plug-in interface, and begin to work. With genuine digital recall, your recorded settings will survive between sessions, allowing you to discard the labeling tape. And, in true analog form, Freqtube’s eight assignable potentiometers allow you to work and mix in a hands-on manner that provides far more joy than clicking and dragging on a computer screen. Powerhouse Plug-In Freqtube’s companion plug-in has the same visual representation of the hardware processor and may run with up to two stereo or four mono plug-in instances. It’s also where you’ll go to set configurable parameters for each of the processor’s eight hardware knobs. While Freqtube needs a companion plug-in, it is a genuine analog hardware-based processor; hence, offline rendering is not possible. So, before utilizing the Freqport FT-1 Freqtube, ensure that your Core Audio or AISO-based audio interface can run your DAW sessions successfully with a buffer rate of 512 (or lower). Freqport FT-1 Features:  Tube-based hardware processor and plug-in combine analog sound with digital recall and workflow.  The all-metal container has discrete analog tube circuits and internal low-noise, high-voltage production to stabilize each tube’s proper working range.  2 x ECC83/12AX7 high-gain tubes to enhance attitude.  2 x 12AT7 mid-gain tubes provide a soft, mix-ready sound for voices and more.  High-quality 32-bit DAC with support for sampling speeds up to 192 kHz.  The Freqtube plug-in allows for 8 programmable hardware potentiometers, including filters, gain, and harmonics.  The multi-instance plug-in allows for two stereo or four mono instances throughout your process.  Each tube has customizable even/odd-order harmonic behavior and individual channel wet/dry mixing.  Adjustable overdrive and clipping detection.  Displays are colorful and simple to see on both hardware and plug-in interfaces.  Connects to a host computer via USB-C connection.  Available as a desktop accessory and optional rackmount kit.
