Whenever you reach your creative zone, the FANTOM-06 is ready with personalized creative spaces known as scenes that contain your sounds, clips, patterns, and performance layouts, all of which can be triggered with a single touch. A scene can be a full song, a portion of a song, or simply a starting point with your sounds organized exactly as you want them. You may link scenes together or switch them out instantaneously, with no errors or gaps. Classic TR-REC pattern sequencer FANTOM is a self-contained 16-part multitimbral music composition tool that allows for quick production and flexible arrangement. The FANTOM-06 allows you to produce patterns in a number of methods, including step- and real-time polyphonic sequencing, as well as the TR-REC pattern sequencer, which is great for rhythmic sections and used on Roland’s legendary drum machines. The step sequencer is the foundation of dance music, with none more iconic than the 16-step TR-REC found in drum machines like the TR-808, TR-909, and TR-8S. You can fit up to four Partials into a single Tone and up to 16 Tones in a scene, allowing for insanely complicated layers, splits, and sequenced portions. With all of this capability, you can focus on making music rather than preserving processing power; you won’t have to worry about how many effects you can use or if you can change sounds fluidly without impacting complicated patches.
